Tandem paragliding flights are a great way to enjoy the full paragliding aerial experience, without having first to learn how to launch and control the paraglide yourself. Your expert paraglide pilot will take care of the launch, flight and landing for you!
Flight costs 55.000 AMD for up to 20 minutes of flight. The price includes insurance, transportation to the starting point and back to Yerevan, and video shooting-the pilot will make photos and a video during the flight with GoPro camera.
Fly tour begins with a prior reservation. Pilot-instructor, pre-checking weather conditions, suggests possible date, time and place of the flight.
The day begins with a meeting with the pilot in Yerevan in due time.
Further, a pilot with the participants of the tour and the passengers moves in a comfortable transport at the launch place (Aparan, Lake Sevan, Buzhakan, Mt. Atis, Dilijan). The launch place is situated at an altitude of 1300-2800m above sea level. The pilot and passengers dressed in the harness (front passenger, the pilot in the back) and get ready to start.
After landing and at the end of the tour for all participants, the pilot with participants returns to Yerevan.
As an option is possible to make Cross-Country flight – takeoff and landing place may be from each other at a distance of 50km. Such flight could last more than an hour and distance is dependent on weather conditions and the presence of thermal flows. Cross-Country flight costs 100.000 AMD including transportation and Gopro filming. Cross-Country flight must be discussed with instructor in advance.
The passengers should be in sportswear, it is desirable to have sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen and be sure to have a good mood
The flight cannot take place or be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, or take up to 10 minutes due to the lack of thermal flows.

Sevan
• Home Sevan
Take off area:
Coordinates: 40.589128°/ 44.951533°, h = 2300m
Pros:
– Mountain range, has long straight ridges, good for dynamic soaring,
– You can find the convergence phenomenon almost always, which allows to soar not only in the dynamics near the slopes but also in the entire territory even to novice pilots,
– Smooth, soft, grass-covered fields for landings,
– Take off areas can be reached via ropeway (cheap, fast, and comfortable :))
– Take off areas can be reached also via 4WD vehicles (there is no asphalt-based road).
Cons:
– Weak XC potential, usually there are no high thermals
– Landing zones are limited, surrounded with high-voltage power lines
– Meteorological "surprises" take place. Sometimes air becomes unpredictably turbulent, or relative humidity level increases rapidly, because of humid air over the lake and the clouds hinder sunlight (especially during the second half of the day) as a result fog forms and the visibility falls.
Winds:
– North, North-east winds
Flying season:
– July – September, when the global winds become Northern.
